The activity of the COA AlpHouse Center - "Participated Meeting"
The “Participated Meeting” activity is set in the context of the AlpBC European project – “Capitalising knowledge on Alpine Building Culture by performing regional smart planning and consultancy strategies for sustainable development and closed loop economies in the Alpine Space” which foresees the creation of the AlpHouse Centers, centres for the exchange of know-how, good practices and experiences among the players involved in the energy requalification of existing buildings and the territory. In the Valle d’Aosta the role of AlpHouse Center will be undertaken by COA energia. The “Participated Meetings” consist of participated technical information meetings that focus on topics related to energy optimisation of the building-plant system. The topics studied will involve a specific technical analysis as well as a practical approach through the presentation of real case studies and good practices and the organisation of workshops. The initiative is aimed at project designers that operate in the area of energy requalification of buildings (engineers, architects, technicians and surveyors). Each technical meeting will last 8 hours. Each technical meeting will be presented by an expert that will bring his/her skills and will share their experiences with the professionals taking part. The first 4 technical meetings that will be held during May and June in Aosta are presented below:
May 2014:
· “Participated Meeting 1 – How to undertake an energy audit of a building”
· “Participated Meeting 2 – Identification, evaluation and resolution of thermal bridges”
June 2014:
· “Participated Meeting 3 – Plant systems for low energy consumption buildings”
· “Participated Meeting 4 – Biomass plant systems and the integration of solar thermal”
Further meetings, the details of which will be published at a later date, will be organised in September and October.
