Synergies between the European Projects AlpHouse and Explore
On February 25, 2011 the Project AlpHouse will be guest at the conference "Mountain area, wooden houses, heat and energy" promoted by the Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture of Belluno in the framework of the B2B meetings organized by the European project EXPLORE at the trade fair "Costruire" in Longarone, Belluno, Italy.
The conference represents an opportunity for the exchange of knowledge on one of the major topics related to the building and housing in the Alpine area: the use of wood.
In this context, the AlpHouse project coordinator for the Veneto Region, Arch Franco Alberti, will present the possible synergies between the two European projects in the field of sustainable construction and energy efficiency in the Alpine area and will introduce the speech of the Arch. Bona Flavio (Architectural forum of Belluno) on the topic of the conference on "The living culture of the wood in the Alps".
The project "Explore", funded under the European Territorial Cooperation Programme INTERREG IV Italy - Austria 2007-2013 aims to bring different areas of the border of Carinthia and Triveneto (Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Trentino Alto Adige) in close cooperation for the development and dissemination of common tools to support innovative green building industry.
AlpBC and AlpHouse are projects of the European Union (EU) in cooperation with the Working Group of Alpine Countries (ArgeAlp), lead by the Chamber of Trade and Crafts for Munich and Upper Bavaria (HWK)
